History
Galia Dragmire, was born and raised a Gerudo prior to the events of Ocarina of Time, and grew up knowing a father who was as kind and considerate, as he was ruthless and swift.
The Ganondorf she knew, taught her the ways of her people, and how to become a leader, and how to be kind and compassionate, Twinrova would be her educator, and taught her the ways of Magic, and the world outside the desert, and Nabooru would teach her how to fight and how to survive.
Until she was a Teenager, she was raised and lived as any other Gerudo woman, until the day Ganondorf changed.
Galia has a major difference that separates her from Regular Gerudo women, aside from being the Chief’s daughter, her image closer resembles that of a Hylian, than a Gerudo, being born with fair light skin, and her height being short for a Gerudo woman, at nearly half the average height, on top of being the Chief’s daughter, this nearly completely alienated her from all the other kids her age.
And when Ganondorf changed, becoming the King of Evil, this caused her to alienated from both groups of Gerudo when the tribe was split. Those that rejected everything about the newly changed Ganondorf, and those that followed the King of Evil, and who she could not agree with.
Lost and alienated from everything she had ever known, she cast her self out into the desert, still only a child, surviving off the land until one day, she managed to stumble into the mainland, she had never seen so much green and water in one place. She was certain she had died and gone to heaven, that is until she met a old man, a knight lost not too far in the desert, staggered, weak, and bloody, and being attacked by Lizalfos. She acted before she could even think, reaching for the knight’s sword, she slew the knight’s attackers, felling them one, by one.
The Knight was shocked and surprised, what he thought he saw before him was a Hylian woman, but could fight like a Gerudo Warrior. She raised the weapon high above her head and cried out, scaring away and other attacker’s, and then... she collapsed. Worn and tired from fatigue, when she awoke, she’d find herself on a cot, surrounded by stone walls, a fire place, and a table with a hot meal. The Knight has took her in. At first she was suspicious, but grew to trust the man, and even raised her, for a short while, teaching her the ways of Hyrule, and how Hylians fight. Eventually she began to trust him enough so to let him know that she was the flesh and blood daughter of Ganondorf.
At first, it came to as a shock at first, but by that time Galia had already proven her heart and morals, and that she believe her father could be saved before something terrible came about. The Knight was skeptical, but he agreed to help her, by enrolling her into the Hyrulean Knight’s as his niece.
Normally women weren’t in the Hyrulean Military, but this was more a social norm, than a rule, there was no law denying her the right to join the knight’s, so long as she could pass the initiation.
Single combat, against a veteran knight, many failed their exams, but for Galia, who had been a fighter her whole life, passed with flying colors
This new life as a Knight came with its own hardships though, she would now have to fight her own father, or atleast the man her father became, and his army. It would eventually tear her up, one way or another she’d lose friends, and people she’d care about....
.....but she would never give up hope.
